Team collaboration in modern office environment

Our Story

Founded in 2015 by a group of financial professionals and educators, our academy emerged from a simple observation: despite the critical role money plays in our lives, most people receive little formal education about managing it.

We started with weekend workshops in a rented community space in Clerkenwell, teaching basic budgeting to families. The response was immediate and encouraging. Parents wanted their children to learn what schools were not teaching, and adults sought practical guidance that went beyond generic advice.

Over the years, we expanded our curriculum, trained more instructors, and established partnerships with schools and businesses across London. Today, we offer a range of programmes that serve learners from age 10 through retirement.

Our Approach to Learning

We believe financial education should be practical, engaging, and free from intimidation.

No Jargon Policy

Financial terminology can be a barrier to learning. Our instructors explain concepts in plain language and only introduce technical terms when participants are ready.

Learning by Doing

Each session includes practical exercises, case studies, and simulations. Participants apply what they learn to real scenarios rather than just absorbing theory.

Small Group Settings

Classes are capped at 15 participants to ensure everyone receives attention and has the opportunity to ask questions without feeling rushed.

Our Values

These principles guide every course we design and every session we deliver.

Accessibility

Financial education should not be reserved for the wealthy. We offer sliding scale pricing for those who need it and partner with community organisations to reach underserved populations.

Objectivity

We do not sell financial products or receive commissions. Our only interest is in providing unbiased education that serves the learner, not a sales pipeline.

Relevance

Our curriculum evolves with the financial landscape. We regularly update content to address current issues, from digital banking to cryptocurrency basics.

Empowerment

Our goal is not to create dependency on financial professionals but to give individuals the knowledge to make confident decisions on their own.

The educational content provided by our academy is designed to improve general financial literacy and does not constitute personalised financial, legal, or tax advice. Each individual's financial situation is unique, and we encourage participants to seek guidance from licensed professionals for decisions involving significant financial commitments. Educational outcomes vary based on individual engagement and application of concepts learned.
